I hate how the animals are designed to be all kinectimals-like, it goes against what most fans of the series want, which is realism. The meerkats shown at the start look terrible and the faces on the big cats and the bears look very weird (especially the tigers). But I stand by the fact that I think most of the animals look pretty bad, and will even say that AD did a better job with RR.

There's something off about the fur on most of the animals, they look more fuzzy than furry, specifically animals like the koala shown in the picture above. Some of the animals look pretty good, mainly the elephants, rhinos, and hippos, but some of the smaller ones just look terrible imo. I'm looking forward to the fact that there will be no more zoo limit and will have more choice in the animals. And the lack of some of the core animals such as zebra, gorillas, camels etc was bad, although I did like how the did the subspecies system I felt actually that was quite good personally. But my main problem with the game we have to be the zoo limit it was just pointless, I mean in challenge mode it actually kind of makes sense because then you're forced to actually be smart about what you put in and how you do it so it does create a nice challenge but in free-form it had no place there.

I thought zoo tycoon on Xbox one wasn't too bad, my problems with it were mainly the lack of full customization power in the exhibits, such as choosing which region the tropical exhibit was from such as Africa or India, I also think that it was wrong for them to allow all the features to only really be accessed on the one version but then again that was when they were trying to get people to stop going on the 360 and move onto the Xbox one. Personally I'm actually looking forward to the ultimate animal collection. Considering we already have the Barbary lion in the game, it shouldn't be too much of an issue to include extinct animals, be it modern day extinctions, or prehistoric extinctions from which these animals appeared from on the history of Earth.Įither way, I'm at least glad the infamous build limit is no longer going to be a thing. Admittedly I might be asking for too much with prehistoric animals, but so far let me put this in a way you'll understand.Įvery game in the Wildlife Park franchise has prehistoric animals in it as part of the lineup, even within the limited lineup of Wildlife Park 3. The very first expansion pack for the original Zoo Tycoon gave us prehistoric animals including dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals, as well as other types of prehistoric reptiles such as Plesiosaurus and Meiolania. I know most of the animals we have are modern day species so far, but two words I have so far if you indeed want to have an Ultimate Animal Collection in a game part of the Zoo Tycoon franchise.
